Edible Cookie Dough!

Hi guys! I came across a new treat that takes about 5 min to make.. (if you are a good baker unlike me :P) It's edible cookie dough! Once I made this I immediately felt the need to share it with you guys! I was craving this so much last night so I decided to make it. I came across this recipe from themakeupbydanielle, on youtube, in one of her videos. (Love her!) My family thinks I am so weird for liking raw cookie dough, but it tastes so good! It is currently sitting in my freezer, but my overall thought from tasting it, is that it is a bit flour-y/ you can feel the sugar grams D: I hope the texture feels a little better when it is frozen, but the taste is good! Your Clean, Cut, and Crisp New Diet!

With New Year upon us, most of our goals consist of healthy eating. With healthy eating you need healthy meals. An important reminder to keep in mind is that you can eat! You don't have to starve yourself in order to look a certain way. Without further ado, here is my everyday meal plan (:

Breakfast: Breakfast is usually the "biggest" meal of the day to keep you full for the time between breakfast and lunch. I like to have a protein bar and a cup of tea, on the go of course! (Who has the time  :P) If you like it better, drink coffee. I just drink tea for the caffeine, because coffee hurts my stomach :) If you're searching for a good protein bar, look for the calories and the actual protein. My favorite kinds are QuestBars. They have a small amount of calories for a big amount of protein!

Lunch: Since I am only in 8th grade, my mom still makes me lunch :D. For lunch I like to have a container filled with mixed veggies and grilled chicken. This is possibly the easiest lunch for anyone to make because you can just pop a frozen bag of mixed veggies found at any super market into the microwave, and put on some pre-grilled chicken from the night before.

Snacks :D  My all-time favorite snack has to be apples with cinnamon! It is actually filling unlike a 100 calorie pack. Just cut up a medium-large apple (around 80 calories) and sprinkle some cinnamon (0 calories!! What a steal!) Muy delicioso!

Dinner: My ultimate favorite dinner has to be those spinach

and quinoa burgers from Wild By Nature (a healthy supermarket) I do not know the amount of calories, but I can only assume they are not a lot. They are super yummy and filling!

A main rule is to not eat after 7:00. I do not know the exact science behind it but I heard that the food you eat will turn straight to fat, which is what we want to get rid of not gain!!:)

The New Year, New Me!

New Year, New Me!

This overly used cliche actually has some meaning to me. It is my favorite time of year because this is the time for a fresh start, which can be with friends, family, grades; etc. The list goes on and on! My goals for the new year have pretty much been the same every single year, which is to be healthier and make the Honor Roll in my school. With having the right mindset, I did it! I made honor roll and I made sure I was healthier, with cutting back junk food and exercising. I even lost weight from it!

Goals- How To Achieve Them!

The key to achieving your goals for the new year is to make realistic ones! You can't balance academics, sports, family time, a social life, after school activities, and still have a proper diet (and sleeping hours! :D). If you can do all this, while in high school/ middle school, you really do have magical powers :P I for one, know I cannot manage all this. That is why I make smaller and practical goals. For example, a goal can be to make the varsity soccer team and be on honor roll. Any sport is only for one season, so you have the rest to study! If you are falling behind in class during your sport season, see your teacher for extra help during your free period/lunch or after school if practice is canceled!

Overall, I hope everyone is celebrating with happiness and joy tonight! Can't wait to see the ball drop!
